Scope of Practice
Asher Fox, CCHt, is among the top Florida Clinical Hypnotherapy practitioners, having graduated from multiple State Licensed Schools of Hypnotherapy and possessing Florida State Licensed Diplomas as a Hypnotherapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Asher Fox, CCHt, holds additional credentials in Cognitive Behavioral Coaching, Relationship Coaching, Ericksonian Conversational Hypnotherapy, Affect Regulation Tools such as EFT, and is a Licensed Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Moreover, Asher Fox, CCHt, has extensive teaching credentials in these areas.
Limitations
· Hypnotherapists, including Asher Fox, CCHt, are not physicians or licensed health care providers. They do not provide diagnoses or recommend altering any prescribed medications or physician recommendations.
· Services offered are within the scope of practice guidelines for Clinical Hypnotherapy as defined by Florida law, considered non-therapeutic unless referrals and guidance are provided for conditions outside this scope.
· This practitioner will not recommend discontinuing medically prescribed treatments and will refer back to the original prescribing practitioner.
· Asher Fox, CCHt, does not perform psychotherapy or psychiatry. Sessions are conducted within the credentials and training received by the practitioner.
Referrals and Confidentiality
· Medical and/or psychological referrals may be necessary for formally diagnosed mental health disorders, in accordance with Florida State Law.
· Confidentiality is paramount. All information received, whether in writing or verbally, is kept private, with exceptions only as required by law (indications of harm to self or others, child or elder abuse).
